Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s):

After consultation with Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission, I am very pleased to confirm our return-to-school date remains Monday, 14 December 2020.

Prior to our return to school on Monday, families will have to complete the online Health and Wellness Attestation Form for their children. The form is now in the Genesis Parent Portal and must be completed by drop-off on Monday, 12/14. You will receive a text reminder on Sunday to complete this form.

Nothing compares to in-person learning, and we are eager to have our students back in the classrooms. In an effort to continue to do all that is possible to maintain a healthy and safe environment, the District has put HEPA air purifiers in each classroom and instructional space. Although fresh air will still need to be circulated through the rooms, the air purifying units will help to improve the air in our buildings as we approach the winter months. It is important to note that all of the other existing safeguards, such as face coverings, desk shields, and handwashing, will still be required.

With the weekend and the holidays upon us, please consider the advice offered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to stay safe and healthy. If your family plans to travel to a location outside of New Jersey for December break, please consult this resource. If necessary, please let the school know if we need to plan for your child to learn remotely, for the purpose of quarantine, upon your return from travel.
